BRITNEY AWARDED MORE TIME WITH HER CHILDREN.




BRITNEY SPEARS (on her way to court) went to court today escorted by her parents to seek more time with her two sons - and the judge granted it. It is not clear how much time Spears will get. KEVIN FEDERLINE was also in court and the pair never made eye contact as the appeal was made, but through his lawyer he acknowledged Spears was consistently doing well and he welcomed her time with their sons.

GWYNETH PALTROW has permanent numbness in one of her legs after breaking a knee while filming IRON MAN. Paltrow kept working despite the pain and after seeing a Doctor was told she needed surgery. Gwyneth also revealed that she is very clumsy and has broken her toes around 30 times.

CSI STAR ARRESTED FOR DRUGS.



GARY DOURDAN plays Warwick Brown on CSI: Las Vegas and was busted for posesssion of cocaine, heroin and estacy in Palm Springs this week. Dourdan was found asleep in his car, parked on the wrong side of the road just after 5:00 AM.

BON JOVI BOMB THREAT.



BON JOVI had a show in Florida disrupted this week after someone called in a bomb threat. Fans, band and crew were evacuated and Police and bomb-sniffing dogs were brought in. Eventaully it was determined to be a hoax and the band went onstage around 9:30 PM.

CARMEN ELECTRA is getting married to KORN guitarist, ROB PATTERSON. He presented her with a black diamond which she says is "just their style because it's so different". Electra has previously been married briefly to DENIS RODMAN and most recently DAVE NAVARRO.

Actor WESLEY SNIPES has been sentenced to three year in jail for tax fraud. Snipes failed to file a tax return from 1994 - 2004 for not paying taxes on $58 million of income. He is now Prisoner 57, under his real name, Noxema Jackson and will serve a minimum of two-and-a-half years if he's a good prisoner.

AMY WINEHOUSE IS GOING FROM WORSE, TO WORSE.



AMY WINEHOUSE is back to her old tricks, drinking all night until the wee small hours, openly smoking marajuana, grabbing crisps and snacks early in the morning and hassling the paparazzi for trying to snap her. Her new album is on hold, her record company is furious with her and her incarcerated husband is not helping (see below).

GWYNETH PALROW promoting the movie she co-stars in with ROBERT DOWNEY JNR. The pair were at the Berlin premiere of the film which is one of the most anticipated movies of 2008.

Here's his mugshot from the night he was arrested for drink driving with his 10-year-old daughter and cousin in the back of his Hummer. However,  RICHIE SAMBORA has escaped  being charged for child endangerment, but has been prosecuted for the DUI and is now on probation for three years and will pay around $US1,600 in penalities. During his probation Sambora is to stay sober from drugs and alochol.

Emilio Diaz (58) suddenly died from pneumonia last week - but the service was a light-hearted affair with hardly anyone wearing black, instead dressed in casual attire. SANDRA BULLOCK OKAY AFTER BEING HIT BY DRUNK DRIVER.



SANDRA BULLOCK and her husband JESSE JAMES are okay after their SUV was hit by a drunk driver. Fortunately noone was injured in the crash, but the 64-year-old driver was arrested after testing two and a half times over the legal alcohol limit. Bullock and Jesse were passengers in the rented vehicle and declined the medical attention.

Hard to picture, but a true story. KEANU REEVES has indicated he wants to move into a musical with singing, dancing and some romance. Reeves is currently promoting his latest action movie, Street Kings.

CYNTHIA NIXON, A BREAST CANCER SURVIVOR.



CYNTHIA NIXON has this week revealed she was diagnosed with breast cancer two years ago but wanted to deal with it privately. Nixon had an operation and six weeks of radiation therapy and is now in remission. Nixon wanted it to become public so she could show other sufferers the disease is beatable, and something she expected to get as her Mother and Grandmother are breast cancer survivors. Nixon's new Sex & The City movie is out next month.


MARRIAGE RUMOURS ALREADY.



They've only been dating a few months but already rumours are circulating that marriage is on the cards for PARIS HILTON and BENJI MADDEN.  The Hilton's have gushed about how wonderful Benji is with Father Rick saying, "We love him as family already. Benji doesn't drink or smoke and is a healthy vegan!". Kathy Hilton added, "He's changed her life, and I really think she's genuinely in love for the first time. This has honestly become the real thing".

KATE MOSS must be relieved that she's no longer dating this guy. PETE DOHERTY is a musician but more famous for his blatant drug abuse and now doing time for it. Unfortunately it is not going to help him get clean as he is still using heroin as his cellmate is a well known drug dealer.


AMY WINEHOUSE GETS TOLD OFF.



AMY WINEHOUSE has been told to get it together and get clean by her record company. Universal Records wanted Winehouse to release an album this year and planned to have her record it in the Bahamas. However Amy refused to record there and appears to be stalling due to her proivate life, meaning a new album may not be out until 2009. Or, not at all if she continues to drink heavily and use drugs.

RICHIE SAMBORA MAY GET STUNG FOR CHILD ENDANGERMENT.



RICHIE SAMBORA may be facing child endangerment charges as well as DUI after being pulled over last month. Sambora was over the limit, but also had his daughter, Ava, and her cousin in the backseat. Police are requesting that he be charged and are working on the case that will be before the courts again next month.

She was applying make-up, and there's no disputing it because the guy she hit actually saw her doing it in his rare vision mirror. BRITNEY SPEARS didn't cause too much damage and noone was injured in the incident - Spears was just embarassed. The driver she hit said he was admiring the girl in the white mercedes coming up behind him and didn't realise it was Britney until they collided.

It exists, it's genuine and it's been sold to a New York businessman for $US1.5 million. Monroe's ex, Joe Di Maggio offered $25,000 for it but was turned down. It is alleged that tape clearly shows Marilyn with a man that is rumoured to be John F or Robert Kennedy. The buyer said noone will ever see it as he is locking it away.

COURTNEY LOVE was refused onto a flight to the UK after she lit a cigarette in the Virgin Airlines First Class lounge. She had a few puffs before being told off and was then told to stay on the ground when the boarding call came for her and daughter, Frances Bean.

SIENNA MILLER WANTS RHYS TO BEEF UP.



Recently engaged SIENNA MILLER has spent around $10,000 on a workout machine for her fiancee, RHYS IFANS to use so he can bulk up before their wedding. Rhys is a naturally skinny guy but Sienna likes her men with muscles and is hoping a lot of workouts will provide those.

BRITNEY SPEARS has donated $25,000 to American Idol's charity show, Idol Gives Back. Spears apparently cried when she saw the coverage of the African children dying of Maleria and asked her Father Jamie if she could give some money.

DAVID BECKHAM is attempting to hide behind his sun-visor as a Police Officer writes him out a ticket. To prove that fame is not a repellant against traffic violations, Becks was cited for attempting a U-Turn in a busy intersection where turnign around is banned.

MADONNA NOW PLANS TO ADOPT FROM INDIA.



MADONNA (here with son David)  is intent on adopting another child and has now shifted her focus to India. Madonna abandoned plans to adopt from Malawi (see below) and has settled on a child from the Asian continent once she's finished promoting her new album, Hard Candy.


PAMELA'S NEW TELEVISION SHOW...

MARY J BLIGE yelled out her congratulations to Beyonce and Jay Z while co-headlining a show with Jay saying, "Congratulations to my man, Jay Z and my girl B". Jay Z did not acknowledge the comment, nor was he wearing a wedding ring, he just performed as if nothing had happened.

WINEHOUSE, AMY WINEHOUSE TO DO THE BOND THEME.



It is a lucrative contract doing the James Bond Movie Theme. The likes of Madonna, Duran Duran and Tina Turner have performed it in the past, and now it's AMY WINEHOUSE'S turn. Amy is working on the theme to Quantum Of Solace with her good friend, music producer Mark Ronson. The latest Bond movie is due November this year.


MADONNA ABANDONS HER LATEST ADOPTION PLANS.



MADONNA is no longer planning to adopt a little girl named, Mercy, from Malawi because she is exhausted from all the red tape. Madonna does plan to support the child financially from the UK, and last week celebrated the finalization of baby David's aoption.

HEATH LEGER had an affair with an older woman when he was a 17-year-old schoolboy and she has recently revealed that he fathered her 11-year-old daughter. The woman and Ledger's family are getting a paternity test done, however Heath's Uncle Hadyn said, "There is a very real possibility that Heath was the Father".

JESSICA SIMPSON is out of hospital after being treated for a kidney infection since late last week.
